Powering breakthrough ideas to revolutionise pharmaceutical technology.
InsudPower invites proposals for breakthrough ideas at any stage of development, targeting specific pharmaceutical technology challenges, offering innovative formulation strategies for known products, or presenting new solutions to overcome hurdles in drug delivery. We are particularly interested in ideas centred on long-acting products, such as injectables, implants, combination products, polymeric delivery systems and technologies for poorly soluble compounds.
Our InsudPower team is focused on delivering novel treatments and affordable medicines to patients. At Insud Pharma, innovation is at the heart of our business, with R&D centres located in Spain, Italy, China, India and Argentina, and a development pipeline that currently exceeds more than 200 products. Pharmaceutical innovation functions synergistically with our own integrated global manufacturing network comprising 5 chemical plants for API (in Italy, Spain, Argentina and India), 2 pharmaceutical plants in Spain and one in India, as well as 2 injectables plants in Spain, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Historically, Insud Pharma has embraced open innovation strategies, collaborating with universities and research institutes worldwide, and, more recently, with our programme CHEMOSTART, supporting start-ups focused on healthcare. We are now launching InsudPower, a programme designed to accelerate ideas that will revolutionise pharmaceutical technology, with a special emphasis on addressing unmet patient needs.
Our goal is to ensure that your breakthrough solutions or ideas reach the market, ultimately to improve patient's lives.
We aim to establish strong partnerships with universities, start-ups, research centres to identify, develop, and commercialise key innovative ideas that will improve people's lives.
What are we looking for?
We are open to considering ideas across all therapeutic areas, pharmaceutical dosage forms, development technologies and drug delivery devices. Examples include, but are not limited to, new routes of administration, long-acting pharmaceutical forms (such as injectables and polymeric delivery systems), new technologies (e.g. improving solubility of very poorly soluble molecules), and drug delivery devices. These ideas may pertain to generic or hybrid products (with goals like early market entry, product improvement, or new administration routes). We also welcome innovative products.
Bring your idea to life!
We welcome proposals for InsudPower programme from a variety of stakeholder, including universities, research centres, start-ups, and pharmaceutical companies. While ideas could be at any stage of development, a certain level of previous research results is required to support your application. Your idea could be in an early stages, where a proof of concept is needed, or at a more advanced stage, ready to negotiate the next steps towards market entry.
Following the scouting phase, up to 10 selected ideas will be invited to present to the INSUD PHARMA panel of experts on Pitch Day. Successful proposals will effectively address a current pharmaceutical issue and present an innovative solution.
Projects will be ranked, with the winner receiving a 10,000 € . Shortlisted projects may also be eligible for additional support, such as mentoring, assistance with patent applications, direct investment, or internal development in collaboration with INSUD PHARMA.
